Thora Grey Album Covers

For this project, my clients, Thora Grey, were a newly formed band of two. Their sound is a synthesis of earthiness and ethereal longing. Because of their inspiration by older bands, they were in search of an album cover that looked like a vinyl. I noticed that they were a fan of linework style portraiture and began designing iterations for them to choose from. Ultimately they chose the design below for their first single, Higher:
